Sheffield born Featherweight Naseem Hamed earns his way into the hall of fame after enjoying a magnificent boxing career spanning over 10 years. Hamed, also known as the Prince, held the European Super Bantom Weight title for many years and remained undefeated until finally losing to Marco Antonia Barrera in the States. Hamed set a might professional record of 46 wins from 47 fights. |

British / Irish fighter Barry Mcguigan became World Featherweight Boxing Champion in 1985 by beating Panama's Eusebio Pedroza in London. Nicknamed the Dark Destoryer, British born Nigel Benn's boxing carear saw him win both the WBC Middleweight championship and the WBO super middle weight belt. Originally crowned world champion after beating Doug De-Witt in 1990, Benn defended his title twice before Chris Eubank took the title by KO. Benn regained succes by winnng the WBO title the following year. |
