Betting Systems
What is a Betting System ?
A Betting System is a set of rules or principles that one must follow and apply to his or her Sports Betting activities, They are designed to help the user manage their Sports Bets by adhering to specific rules, instructions or set criteria.
These instructions could relate to how the selection or selections used for Sports Betting is derived or it could give you specific instructions related to how much you stake, bet or wager. Many Betting Systems include rules, methods or principles for both selection and staking.
Why would I need a Betting System ?
Betting Systems can play a key part in Sports Betting success. Using a Betting System means that you have a structural approach to Sports Betting as opposed to a random approach. If for example, you like to bet on horses, and decide to back a horse just because you like the name or the colour or even the saddle number, then the reality is you stand a much higher chance of losing than you do of winning your bet. You may in fact win, but this would be based on nothing more than luck. Imagine if you are the type of person who cant walk past a Bookmakers Betting Shop without feeling the urge to pop in and have a bet, so in you go looking at your watch, rushing over to the newspapers they have pinned on the wall, a quick scan down the card followed by a quick dash over to counter to get the bet on in time, you throw your money over to the Bookmaker. Two minutes later you screw up your ticket, trying not to look too disappointed and discreetly scuttle out of the shop. Bookmakers love this type of person, and millions of these people exist. Every day Bookmakers profit from the millions of pounds worth of bets that are placed by people who bet at random without any real knowledge or reason of why or what they are actually betting on. This type of erratic betting nearly almost ends in profit loss, with the only exception being luck.
Betting Systems can help combat the randomness of blind betting by implementing a set of strict rules and criteria to follow. The fact is, Professional Sports Betting does exist and there are hundreds of thousands of wealthy individuals who profit consistently because they apply a structured, systematic and disciplined approach to their Sports Betting.
If you want to bet seriously and expect to gain any long term financial yield, then that is why you need a Betting System. Even a bad Betting System has a distinct advantage over using none at all, for the simple reason that you can Analise what you are doing and take the necessary steps to attempt to improve this.
Which Betting System's Should I Use ?
This is down to choice and dependant on which type of sport you wish to bet on. However it is recomended that before you purchase any Betting System, you should try and take the trouble to research the Betting System yourself, finding out which ones perform well and which ones to avoid.
On our Product Page we currently have availibe 12 Betting Systems covering a whole range of Sports from Horse Racing, Football, Tennis and Greyhound Racing. Three of them come highly recommened with our own seal of approval as they are our own tried and tested methods that have been demonstrated and authored by ourselves here at Starlays Sports.
Is a Betting System the same as a Staking Plan ?
Not really. Most Good Betting Systems will include a Staking Plan with the system, but the term 'Staking Plan' usually only referes to the specific instructions regarding the staking, betting or wagering part of the system and does not include how each selection used for Sports Betting is arrived at.
While most Betting Systems have to be paid for, examples of Staking Plans can be found free on our Staking Plan pages.
