The History of the Bethound Systems
Back in 2004 we started inspecting the Greyhound Markets on the Betting
Exchanges whilst piloting a betting system that was based on Speed
Figures. After 6 months of following the system it was clear to us that
the Speed Ratings system we had been using was not profitable at level
stakes and also made risky business if used with any kind of
progressive martingale style betting too. At this point we decided to
write off the Speed Rating system as a flop. Our 6 months of REAL
betting had resulted in a -82 points to level stake loss, but as a
result of this system we found a very interesting trend in the results
that we had.
This newly discovered trend we had found was certainly worth of further
investigation. After back pedaling through our 6 months of UK Greyhound
Results we could see very clearly that in certain types of greyhound
races, a particular bet existed which seemed pretty consistent in the
outcome because more than 80% of the time the bet won.
From upon discovering this trend, we then decided to create our own
Greyhound System based on our findings. Turning to a close friend of
ours Gary, who was already well on the way to establishing himself as a
professional sports bettor, I asked him to check over our findings and
help us create a staking plan or further rules for the new system.
A few days later, and after noticing that day after day the new trend
bets we were watching were still winning the majority of the time, our
friend the pro came back to us smiling. After only a short discussion
we were both very clear that we had something. Armed with a staking
system, we created what we call 'The Bethound Method' and began to
follow our new system.
In the first 12 months we experienced bankroll growth that simply over
whelmed us. Who could possibly believe that you could start with as
little as £10 and turn this into £22,000 in less than one
year ? Who
cares who believes it, we did it, although we used somewhat black or
risky tactics to achieve this, but shows that it is clearly possible to
make great profits by using progression betting.
Bethound had achieved its finest hour, call it good luck, call it run
of the lanes, call it what you like, but Bethound proved to us to be a
valuable and red hot method of making a Tax Free income from the
exchanges.
In 2007, Bethound was put on general sale by Starlays. We didn't get
much sales probably due to inefficient marketing and the fact our
website was brand new and not getting any traffic, however the small
amount of people who did purchase Bethound gave us some excellent
feedback on how well the method was working for them too.
Bethound used a progressive and somewhat aggressive method of staking
to achieve its finest potential and by the end of 2008 we had decided
to take a new look at the method of staking to see if we could reduce
the risk factor in the system. We did this quite simply because we know
that not all people like the progressive style of betting, in fact I
would presume that most people hate it, having been burned by it at
some point in the past probably. We were lucky enough to use it
successfully for 2 years, by that time we certainly had made great
profit, but we also knew that surely our luck may come unstuck one day.
Then in 2009 Bethound Pro was born.
While keeping with the trusted Bethound Method on selecting the
Greyhounds, Bethound Pro made a slight tweak to our selections and
overhauled the staking plan completely to a professional low risk money
management system, the type that most professional sports bettors would
probably use, this slashed the risk by ruling out any martingale style
of play that we had used previously and gave punters a greater piece
mind and better confidence when using the system. While simply not
aggressive, Bethound Pro was designed for long term use creating small
profits over time, but keeping inline with the great strike rate of the
system which is still as high as 80%
We don't except to be making any further updates, between the pair of
them we have both an explosive profit system and a perfect professional
long term system. Each one is individual in their own way. We expect
Bethound Pro to stand the test of time, as long as we have Greyhounds
on the exchanges, we will always have the Bethound way of making money.
